emdr

Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) is a is a psychotherapy that enables you to heal from emotional distress that is caused by any disturbing life experience. 

EMDR therapy shows that the mind can in fact heal from psychological trauma much as the body recovers from physical trauma. EMDR therapy helps you to tap into your brain’s information processing system removing any blocks that are preventing your healing and ability to move forward. 

EMDR can be used for a wide variety of difficulties including Trauma, anxiety and phobias.

CBT

Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT) is a therapy that aims to facilitate positive change in your life by helping you to identify how your thoughts, feelings and behaviours are connected. Understanding these connections allows you to gain an insight into your thought and behavioural patterns and explore how these are linked to your current difficulties. 

CBT is an evidence based therapy which means that there is a strong research and evidence base for this treatment. It is also recommended by NICE (National Institute for Health and Clinical Excellence) as a first line of treatment for the following disorders; Depression, Generalised Anxiety Disorder, OCD (Obsessive Compulsive Disorder), Phobias, Panic Disorder, Illness Anxiety Disorder and Post Traumatic Stress Disorder.

Cathartic Release

Want to try therapy but not sure where to start? Try one of our Cathartic Release sessions. This session will give you the opportunity to offload your problems onto your therapist and take a step back and analyse which ways would be best for you to move forward. This technique is based in psychoanalytic theory and aims to provide you with an emotional release and provide further clarity on the situations and conflict you might be experiencing.

Burnout sUPPORT
